The rules, in full

  • Preview first. Dropping a file and watching the preview are always free. The preview is the first 20 seconds of your recovered video, with a large watermark. You pay only to repair the full file.
  • Launch discount. Waitlist members get 30% off for the first 14 days after launch.
  • One file means one interrupted recording repaired to full length, of any size, with no watermark. After paying you can run the repair on that same file again for 7 days.
  • 12-month pass covers every file for 12 months from purchase, for one person. It does not renew automatically.
  • Refunds. If the full repaired file doesn't match the preview, email hello@footagerescue.com within 14 days and we refund you in full.
  • Nothing to pay if it can't be saved. If no preview can be produced, you're never asked to pay.
  • Prices are in US dollars. Prices include all taxes, such as EU VAT. What you see is what you pay.
  • Payment is by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through a secure checkout. We never see or store your card details.
  • Invoices arrive by email. Add your company name and VAT number at checkout if you need them.

Questions about payment

How much does it cost?

WAV repair is free. Video repair will cost $29 per repaired file of any size, or $79 for a 12-month pass with unlimited files. Prices are in US dollars and include all taxes.

When do I pay?

Only after you've watched the free preview of your recovered footage. Dropping the file and watching the preview are always free.

What does the free preview show?

The first 20 seconds of your recovered video, with a large watermark. It's enough to check picture and sound before you pay. The full repair has no watermark.

Is there a launch discount?

Yes. People on the waitlist get 30% off for the first 14 days after video repair launches.

What counts as one file?

One interrupted recording, for example one .RSV clip, repaired to full length. After paying you can run the repair on that same file again for 7 days, for example on another computer.

What if the repaired file isn't good?

If the full file doesn't match what the preview showed, email hello@footagerescue.com within 14 days and we refund you in full.

Does the 12-month pass renew automatically?

No. It simply ends after 12 months. You can buy a new one if you need it.

How do I pay, and do I get an invoice?

Through a secure checkout by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. A receipt, and an invoice with your company details if you add them, arrives by email.
